Wow! You mention some of my top favorites: Jim Wendler, Mark Rippetoe, and Robert Bryce. I began barbell training with Rippetoe's method in 2014. Great analogy here about strength and the grid. Many people won't understand this because they aren't strong and don't understand strength's benefits.
